AGM

The club AGM is next Thursday 13 June at 6pm in the clubhouse.  We’d love to see you all there.  The meeting documents will be sent out in the coming days, including the Annual Report and Accounts as well as an operating cash budget.  If you have any apologies, send them to manager@omokoroagolf.co.nz

There is one table left for the Trivia Quiz night.  Let’s fill it up and make it a great night.  $20 includes a platter of nibbles from our wonderful caterers.

Great to see the pace of the greens stepping up, even more reason to repair those pitch marks.

If you are using a cart don’t forget to go to the office and pick up your current red “cart path pass”.  This applies to carts, bikes and trikes.  The fees from this are an integral part of the path funding and maintenance.

Remember the practice fairway is maximum 180 m.  With the practice tee blocks forward please pay attention to this as it can bring the 9th and 18th fairways into play.

President's Message
John 'Swampy' Marsh

Huge thanks to Barry Mason who placed the cladding on the ladies shelter on Monday for all your roofing needs contact Mason Metal roofing specialists.

Big shout out to Stacey for organising the Juniors on Saturday. Joseph Lavender was the eventual winner of the Presidents Trophy. I had the honour of presenting the trophy to Joseph and it was awesome to see the enthusiasm from all of our Juniors. Great to see parents supporting the day.

More thanks to John Crawshaw who lent us the use of his trailer to pick up the native trees from Rotovegas, kindly funded by the Saturday Men and to Kevin, Colin and Rob for Planting on the 16th. Absolutely lovely Kauri, Totara, Rewa Rewa, Kahikatea and Tanekaha, watch this space for more work to be done. Swampy was the driver and onlooker.

Wishing Rob and Ed a happy birthday enjoy your day.

If you are a visitor or new member, we welcome you to our beautiful Golf Club
