Matchplay Championship and Plate competitions have progressed to the Semi-Finals for both Divisions. Results are posted on the Men’s locker room board.

Winners in the haggle for those not in the matchplay were:

Omokoroa Ladies Autumn Tournament 19th May

A full field of 29 ladies’ teams played in our annual Autumn Tournament. Beautiful weather and great playing conditions made for a fantastic tournament, with much appreciation being shown by visiting players.

This Sunday 26th May is Ladies Matchplay finals. There will be four matches played and it would be great to see a few spectators out there on the course to watch what I’m sure will be very closely contested finals. Good luck to all the players!

It has been a Blast.

So long my golfing friends.  My almost 10 years as a member of the Omokoroa Golf Club has been enjoyable.  To those I have had most contact with thank you for your friendship, camaraderie and banter.  I will forever have pleasant thoughts of my time here. It is “Over and Out” from me.

* Thank you to John Crawshaw for the loan of his trailer to pick up builders mix and cement to pour the ladies shelter floor.  The team did a great job.  KD, Colin Gee, Hugh Moleta, Rob Mitford-Burgess and Swampy as supervisor, Yeah Right!

* Calling all volunteers working bee this Monday and Tuesday.  Start 8am, three required for two hours shifts, over six hours.  Contact Colin Gee (Course Convenor) Ph 027 577 1987.  Thank you.  Site green shed, please assemble for induction and tool box meeting.
